I am a board-certified Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). I have been in practice since 1981 with an office in Wayland, MA since 1986. I am affiliated with the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. I offer very personalized care for all gynecologic problems with an emphasis on avoiding major surgery. I must say that dr Penso really takes the time to listen to me, it was NO rush during my consultation, I loved that before she did any examination she listened to all my concerns. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recomend dr Penso!!! Wish I had meet her 13 years ago!!!! Thank you very much!

Dr. Penso was great. I felt very comfortable around her, and felt she hit the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. In addition, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I made my appointment on Zocdoc, and it was confirmed for the next day. Also, Dr. Penso has later Tuesday hours which is wonderfully thoughtful of real people who have to work during normal 8-4 OBGYN hours! I had a great, quick, professional, and friendly experience overall.
