John Kplorfia, DNP, is a US Army Veteran and a healthcare professional licensed to provide holistic, family-centered primary healthcare to populations across the lifespan. He has extensive experience in a variety of ambulatory and inpatient care settings, where he provided primary and subacute care. He has had great accomplishments in the following areas: pain management-certified Suboxone prescriber, geriatric care, diabetes and hypertension management, Coumadin and Clozaril dosing, women's health, as well as other complicated medical management. He provides comprehensive care to patients while promoting a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
He has over two decades of clinical experience working in hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and private practices. Throughout his career, he has cared for patients of all ages and backgrounds, including those with complex medical and chronic conditions. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice, making a significant impact on improving patients' health outcomes.
John earned his Doctorate in Family Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, his Master's in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso, and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington. During his education and practice, he completed extensive internships and training with well-rounded providers in Pediatrics, Women's Health, Psychiatry, Geriatric Care, and Adult Health at the University of Vermont Medical Center, William Beaumont Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, among others.

I booked this appointment at last minute on a weekend and was quite pleased. It was a nice, quiet environment, the lady manning the desk was pleasant, and the attending DNP had a good bedside manner and was easy to talk to about my medical situation.
