He attended Brooklyn College of City University in New York where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was awarded a medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Ginchansky went on to complete his Internship and Residency at the Bronx Municipal/Albert Einstein Medical Center and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the National Jewish Hospital and Research Center/ University of Colorado Medical Center.
In addition to a full time private practice, over the past 35 years Dr. Ginchansky has done extensive research in the field of allergy and asthma. He has published several articles in the field and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; Fellow, American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society; Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society; Dallas County Medical Society; and the Texas Medical Association. He is board certified in Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ginchansky is involved in teaching and is a Clinical Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Additionally, he has served as the Director of Clinical Allergy at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Elliot J. Ginchansky has been voted by his peers to be included in “The Best Doctors in America”, as well as the “Guide to Top Doctors”. He has appeared numerous times in D Magazine’s listing of “The Best Doctors in Dallas” as well as Texas Monthly’s “Texas Super Doctors”.
