Emily Bender, ND, LAc is a primary care physician in Naturopathic Medicine and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Washington. She received a doctorate in Naturopathic medicine and a masters in Acupuncture from Bastyr University. Following graduation, she traveled to China, where she received post-graduate training in acupuncture and Tui Na through Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her additional training in homeopathy and craniosacral therapy allows for a diverse array of options to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and digestive complaints.
Dr. Bender uses a holistic approach to medicine by treating the whole person –
physically, mentally and emotionally. She integrates eastern and western medicine by
utilizing techniques such as acupuncture, craniosacral, homeopathy, botanicals, nutrition,
detoxification, and lifestyle counseling in order to promote balance and optimize health.
Her passion is patient education as a means to empower her patients to have an active
role in their health care.

I would have loved an over-view of her approach to wellness, since this was our first interaction. She was on a computer inputting, which I get, but it came off impersonal...and also not in-depth enough for a thorough history and annual evaluation.
