Dr. Emily Crockett is committed to staying on the cutting edge in her field. She has trained at some of the most elite medical education centers in the United States and more specifically, Colorado. She graduated with highest distinction from Colorado State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in Spanish. While at CSU, she majored in Biology and conducted laboratory research in agriculture. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1990, followed by a year’s clinical experience in dermatology at UCHSC. She completed a transitional internship at Presbyterian / St. Luke’s Medical Center in 1991 and a year’s residency in the pathology program at UCHSC. She then completed a three-year residency in family practice at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Crockett is the professional you can trust to give you the sensitive, attentive service you deserve.
In addition to her diplomat status with the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Crockett is a total family doctor with a special interest in medical research on radiation damage in patients with mouth and throat cancer and is certified by the American Heart Association in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Her experience in private practice has been in west metro Denver and the foothills. From 1995 to 1996 she served at the Conifer Medical Center, followed by a stint at Health First Physicians in Golden from 1996 to 1997. That year she decided to work at Columbine Family Practice, which has been a southwest Denver presence for a decade.
