I had a Dr. once, who never took his eyes off the file, and only looked me in the eyes twice out of about 12 appointments. He mumbled and spoke very fast. (as though he was to busy to deal with me). I hated that experience.
Dr. Wierda looked me in the eyes, questioned me in depth and answered with her plan going forward, explained everything very clearly, assured me that every step would only be made, if I was in agreement with it.
I look forward to being treated by Dr. Wierda. I feel like she genuinely cares about her patients. I felt it was a great experience.

I had a very disappointing experience due to poor communication and lack of transparency around appointment type and billing.
I booked what I believed was an annual physical through Zocdoc. At no point did the office contact me to confirm that this would instead be billed as a “new patient / establish care” visit, nor was I informed of their policy that annual physicals are not performed at first appointments. As a result, I was unexpectedly charged.
The physician herself was kind, but the front-end communication and intake process were unprofessional. This situation could have been easily avoided with a simple confirmation call or explanation of office policy prior to the visit.
Additionally, the medical assistant asked me how to spell Adderall, which raised some concerns about basic medication familiarity.
Patients should not be left to discover billing rules after the fact. Transparency and clear communication are essential in healthcare, and unfortunately that was missing here.

Dr Sarah was so pleasant! I wished I would have found her years ago! Just super kind, listened to my problems and worked through them with me. I also asked for my blood to be tested and she was so communicative and let me know which one she didn’t think was worth the extra money… I really appreciated her honesty. Highly recommend.

Sarah was awesome, really listened to what I said and was will to work with me to come up with a treatment plan. Office staff was very friendly and efficient. I did have to wait for more than 20 mins but I think that was just due to another patient appt. running late.

Amazing amazing amazing. Sarah is amazing. I had a past bad experience with a doctor a few months back and decided to come to Sarah instead and it’s the best decision i’ve made. She is so kind and gentle and really listens to you and your concerns. She explains everything in more depth than anyone i’ve been to and she made me feel so incredibly comfortable. I went yesterday and have already recommended her to all of my friends. Amazing person, amazing doctor, all around amazing! go see her :)
