I liked Emily a lot, she was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. However, my appointment time was 4:30 and I didn't actually see her until 5:30.

Dr Splichal attended undergraduate school at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN and graduate school at A.T. Still University earning a Master’s in Human Movement. She went on to graduate with a DPM from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Her post-graduate training included podiatric medicine and surgical training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan as well as Mt Vernon Hospital and Sound Shore Medical Center in Westchester County, NY.
Dr Splichal is extensively trained in lower extremity biomechanics, sports medicine and movement dysfunction. With over 12 years in the fitness industry, Dr Splichal has dedicated her medical career towards studying postural alignment and human movement as it relates to foot posture and foot strength.
Dr Splichal is an active member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Medicine, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine – and is the Founder of the Evidence Based Fitness Academy.
Dr Splichal is an expert lecturer and TV personality with appearances on Oprah Winfrey, The Today Show, The Doctors, Dr Steve Show & Good Day NY. Dr Splichal is sought after for her expertise in barefoot training, foot health and movement dysfunction.
Dr Splichal is actively involved in Human Movement and Podiatric Sports Medicine research. Dr Splichal's research has been published in Lower Extremity Review, as well as presented at the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Medicine and on behalf of the Evidence Based Fitness Academy.
