About Dr. Ameneh Aminian
Dr. Ameneh Aminian is a board-certified podiatrist with over 12 years of experience in private practice. She’s passionate about providing high-quality foot and ankle care with a personal touch. She treats a wide range of conditions—from bunions and hammertoes to Achilles tendinitis, heel pain, diabetic foot issues, arthritis, and sports injuries. Her goal is to help patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their care, always starting with the most conservative approach and focusing on both function and aesthetics when surgery is needed.
Dr. Aminian earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The George Washington University and went on to receive her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an intensive three-year surgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by a fellowship in wound care at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn.
She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an active member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Ameneh Aminian seemed to know her stuff, but she BARELY looked at my foot issue before she recommended a prescription and tried to send me on my way. Even with me asking her a barrage of questions we only interfaced for about 5 minutes. (My questions took 3-4 minutes.)

I was seen on time. Dr Aminian was concise, friendly and effective in asking about various factors concerning my visit and issue.
My foot was x-rayed without leaving the examination room.
We very quickly got to an action plan for treatment, and while that involves surgery, I was expecting it would. I was provided with a surgical consult for a few days from now to discuss treatment with the on-site surgeon.

Dr. Aminian is awesome! She is professional and very compassionate. She asked me questions about my issue and actually listened to what I said. She clearly and concisely explained the options available for treating my issue, including the pros and cons of each. I was seen right away. In and out within 30 minutes but never felt rushed.

She was great! I had a simple problem that I had felt a little silly about going to see someone about, but she has made me feel SO MUCH better (well my foot at least!!). She also didn't just assume it was a totally simple problem and took an x-ray to make sure her assessment was accurate before treatment. Overall, good experience.
