Front desk staff isn’t very pleasant. The doctor is direct, not warm and fuzzy, but extremely professional and to the point. I appreciate and prefer this, but it can be a problem for some. I have a recurrent problem with limited treatment options and was shocked when her advice conflicted with the recommendations of the other doctor/NP at the same practice that I had seen a month earlier. The previous doctor recommended alternative options, but she said those options had limited success rates and she would most definitely disagree. Totally fine but odd. Separately, I got a call from the front desk saying “hi I’m returning your call”. I hadn’t called the office, as I was working all day so I mentioned that. The employee said “well that’s what the notes say so I’m either giving you the info or not”. So I said fine whatever, and she checked again and said “sorry I actually am just calling with your results”. I said ok, and she gave them to me, but the attitude wasn’t very nice.

Front desk staff was rude. I waited a long time in the room to the point the lights kept turning off because lack of movement. The visit with MD was short maybe she was kind but her check in staff needs to get retrained in customer service. I’m a practice manager Ans I would not tolerate that type of behavior from my stuff with my patients. The medical assistant was sweet and very kind.

Dr. Marsan is a board certified gynecologist specializing in outpatient women’s health. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of Virginia and then went on to attain her Masters in Public Health at UMDNJ. She went on to earn her doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Nassau University Medical Center where she won an award for her senior research project on resident performance assessment. Dr. Marsan is dedicated to providing comprehensive gynecologic care and adapting to her individual patient’s needs.
