About Dr. Annie Kim

Dr. Kim is a fibroid specialist and fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. After training at top institutions including Notre Dame, Mount Sinai, UCLA, UT-Houston, and Montefiore/Albert Einstein, she gained invaluable experience in busy, high-volume practices—where she saw how the pressure to see more patients often left little time for real connection.
Determined to offer something different, Dr. Kim founded Kim Gyn to deliver care that is thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply personal. She believes that successful treatment—especially for complex conditions like fibroids—requires both surgical expertise and a trusting partnership built in the office, not just the OR.
Whether your priority is preserving fertility, finding fast relief, or exploring non-surgical options, Dr. Kim takes time to understand what matters most to you. In addition to surgery, she offers comprehensive gynecologic care including in-office procedures, contraception, abnormal pap/STD management, and pregnancy termination.

The experience was rushed and incomplete. The doctor didn’t even perform a Brest exam. It was clear I was the last patient of the day which I entirely understand however, you make your own hours. I felt unheard, not properly examined, and like I have to book another appointment with another doctor for my ACTUAL checkup. The blood draw was rushed and left me a huge black and blue bruise I was left feeling pretty disappointed since gyno apts are so personal. I was hoping for a different experience since I was told she was pretty good but I’m hoping it was just a bad day for her.
