Dr. Behrman treats patients starting at 13 years old. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, attended private school in Amenia, NY, college in Ripon, WI, and earned both his Master's degree and Doctorate in Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, CA, in 1987. Dr. Behrman brings to PsyCare over 25 years of experience helping people navigate the questions, struggles, and challenges in their lives, while honoring their accomplishments. He has worked as a staff psychologist in community-based social service agencies, private practice settings, and at the California State Correctional Facility in Otay Mesa. Dr. Behrman thrives on working with people from all walks of life with a wide range of concerns, helping to put the pieces of their life puzzle together. For many years, he supervised and trained graduate students in psychology, and since he cannot stay away from school, he currently teaches graduate courses to counseling students at Argosy University.
