Excellent doctor. Gave me a thorough checkup and diagnosed problem with accuracy. Had Xrays taken right there at the facility. Nice one-stop shopping! Excellent Physician's Assistant as well, who gave me cortisone shots in shoulder with skill and accuracy. Front desk lady was only let down. I had no idea she was calling my name for my turn because it sounded like her mouth was full of marbles and she did nothing to speak up to those in the waiting room...just mumbled at her desk.

Very busy office, waited a little long but it was worth it! Saw too Orthopedic Dr’s before Dr Shapiro and got two different answers. Not good since all three were looking at the same MRI! He took his time and scanned the MRI very closely and find a few little things that were probably causing my pain! 5ml of Cortizone in the knee and I’m already feeling better! No surgery! Great Dr! Thank you so much Dr Shapiro!

Dr. Shapiro is very experienced, skilled and knowledgeable, and clearly loves practicing in his area of specialization. It's wonderful to meet a doctor who uses clinical assessment, experience and sound judgement to formulate a diagnosis versus a text book and a bunch of tests. The office is very well run. Everyone I encountered was extremely pleasant and competent. I would definitely recommend him and his staff.
Verified patient
He knows his stuff. He is very fast and gives you the truth. He does not appear to be anxious to cut if he doesn’t think the result will be great. My husband had knee surgery from him and he was very competent. Also, his results were great. I definitely recommend him.
Verified patient
Dr. Shapiro appears to be a very capable specialist and is personable and thorough in his approach. The nurse and other office staff (at check-in, etc.) were friendly and helpful, EXCEPT for the female staff member who checked me out upon departure, who was actually rather rude.
Verified patient
Very good!
Dr. Shapiro was very efficient and professional. He took time to explain what the issue was in a way that I understood. Dr. Shapiro was also very personable and distracted my attention away from the fluid he had to take out of my knee! I'm excited to go back for my followup appointment and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my surgery!

The appt was with Dr. Hepler, and it was fine.

Excellent Dr. Ethical and comprehensive. Dr. Shapiro is able to diagnose a wide array of orthopedic conditions. I would highly recommend this Dr. He listens, and had a great demeanor. A+

I was a new patient. There was some confusion re: the time and date of the appointment. I had a confirmed email appointment for 1:30 on 3/15. When I arrived at the office I was informed that my appointment was on 3/17 at a different location. After a brief discussion with the receptionist, the matter was rectified. That said, the doctor and the medical staff were excellent. Was very impressed with Dr. Shapiro's diagnosis and prognosis. Looking forward to a long relationship with Dr Shapiro. Highly recommended !!!! Jim R

He's very nice and personable. First one to let me know I need surgery. Wish I'd known six months ago from the other doctor. I confirmed Dr. Shapiro's diagnosis and he was right. He was very helpful.

I went to Dr. Shapiro for the first time after hearing multiple horror stories about the "excruciating cortisone shots" that various friends received from other doctors. Needless to say, I went to see him with much trepidation. After my shot, I told Dr. Shapiro that from 1 to 100 on a pain scale my shot was a "1." I felt practically nothing. Dr. Shapiro has excellent bedside manners and is very intelligent and articulate. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.
Verified patient
Was Perfect!!!
Excellent communication skills includes listening and that he did. He took time to answer all of my questions. He discussed all possible treatments. Dr Shapiro made immediate referrals. I wish I had seen him for consultation years ago. He is the gold standard for Orthopoedics.
Verified patient
Very professional and knowledgable.
I was very impressed with the professionalism of his staff. I was put at ease immediately & Dr. Shapiiro was positive & to the point about my different options. The cortisone shots have worked very well so far & I walked out of his office feeling very confident about everything. Thank you so much! Janet Raywood
