This was my first visit to the office. And it was such a good experience! Dr. Cardona was attentive, listening carefully to my concerns and answering all of my questions. She provided me with short term and long term goals to address my health concerns after reviewing my history and discussing the symptoms that I was experiencing. She spent an hour focusing on me and developing a plan. I left feeling confident that I had found the right doctor to address my health concerns, one who is friendly, knowledgeable and honest.

The front office staff was super friendly!
Upon my arrival, I was seen right away by the nurse and then by Dr. Cardona.
May I mention that I was an hour and change late because of parkways and street closings due to the damage caused by Hurricane Irma. It was awful!!! I called the answering service around 8:10 a.m. to advise the office that I'd be running late (because the office number kept going to a busy signal) however upon my arrival, the front office staff advised that my message was never relayed and that their phone lines were down due to the storm.
Dr. Cardona was friendly.
She spoke quite fast but got right to business. One thing that I was not pleased about was that, upon receiving my results, she insinuated that my BP was elevated because I "may have been annoyed from filling out the paperwork"... don't know how she may have conjured that up especially when I never made any reference to that. Earlier in my conversation, I did tell her that I had not eaten that morning and that I struggled/rushed to get to the office as it was the day after the remainder of Hurricane Irma hit the East Coast and caused parkways and numerous street closings.
And, when speaking about COVID-19 vaccinations, she asked if I had any questions but did not quite listen to my concerns; she sped through reasons why Moderna would be her choice for a person in my age group.
Not sure if I'd return to see her but the front office staff was super cool.

I am so grateful to be connected to a Mount Sinai clinic again. Dr. Cardona was amiable, insightful, and thorough. I highly recommend this office. Additionally, they have podiatric, orthopedic, and nutritional services all in the same building. I don't have to scramble to different offices for healthcare. I got to the office half an hour ready and the doctor was still ready to see before I filled out thr last form of the paper work. The receptionist was polite, friendly and thorough in all aspects, especially adhering to COVID protocols such as social distancing. De. Cardona was thorough in her approach, meaning she educated me, demonstrated for my understanding, gave examples and she gave me her own professional opinion. Then, she consulted with other doctors and offered me an upgraded professional opinion to save me time in the long run. She did not make me feel rushed or like another number as many professionals tend to do. I literally have no complaints about my experience in the office, not one.
