After 4 years of working in the hospital as a Registered Nurse, Erica graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career in the acute care setting at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX. After 1.5 years of caring for chronically ill patients with frequent hospitalizations, she learned the importance of preventative medicine and transitioned to an outpatient setting to focus on holistic healing. Erica most recently worked at an integrative family practice and is passionate about helping her patients maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle with emphasis on nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Her goal is to get to the root of the problem and to care for her patients as a whole versus just fixing the problem. Erica is originally from Austin, TX but recently relocated to San Diego with her husband. In her free time, Erica enjoys yoga and relaxing at the beach. She loves trying new healthy recipes and sharing them with her patients.
