About Dr. Andrew Gerber

Andrew Gerber, MD, is an Internal Medicine physician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. In 2020, Dr. Gerber obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Gerber then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in 2023. I had a terrible experience with this doctor and left his office in tears. I felt he did not listen to my concerns or care about why I was there. He immediately recommended an extremely invasive surgery when I asked for help managing my weight, assuming I hadn't already done my research (and this I after I repeatedly said no, I wasn't interested and did not feel like my case was extreme enough to require surgery.) He was condescending, rude, and made me feel extremely stupid for asking normal questions. To top it off, he suggested a medicine that wasn't covered by my insurance and did absolutely no follow-up with me or my pharmacy (which he said he would) to help figure out my options. I basically paid him to insult and berate me for a half hour. If you are a woman, at least, I would recommend going anywhere else. I will never step foot in his office again.
