Erika Bury, O.D., was born and raised in Maryland. Her undergraduate work was completed at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies) in 2009 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and nutrition with minors in psychology and chemistry. Erika went on to the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts and in 2014 received her doctorate degree in Optometry. She has also received a master's degree in Nutrition from Northeastern University (Go Huskies) and is currently studying at Washington State University (Go Cougs) for her MBA.
Erika has practiced all over Oregon with some of the top ophthalmologist in the area, but is excited to provide care to the Newberg and surrounding communities. She will performing full scope care including vision exams, contact lens fittings as well as medical care for all patients.
Erika enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, competing in triathlons and playing lacrosse. She is also an active member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma society as an ambassador for the team in training program, a member of Be the Match, a member of the Women of Willamette, and a current coach, referee and advocate for girls youth lacrosse and development.
