My name is Erika Hansen Weich and I am a licensed acupuncturist and chinese herbalist in Boulder, Colorado. I have been practicing at this location on the West End of Pearl Street for since 2003.
I have my masters in Oriental medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and have studied in Hanoi, Vietnam in the National Institute for Traditional Medicine. I have studied muscular skeletal acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, and nutrition extensively .
In my office I have a granular Chinese herb pharmacy where I prepare custom formulas for each client that wants to take herbal medicine. Some problems such as neck pain respond to just acupuncture where other disorders such as menstrual problems or digestive disorders respond to acupuncture and herbal treatment in conjunction.
My goal is to help the client help themselves get better. I prescribe herbs and acupuncture in combination with recommending lifestyle changes that could be contributing to the cause of disease. I am happy to work with medical doctors and other practitioners that you are already seeing or I have recommended.
