Erin's interest in nutrition started in a high school biology class when she was first introduced to metabolism and cell health. From there, it grew as she learned about the impact food has on the body. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Human Nutrition, she went on to work with clients with eating disorders, where she gained an appreciation of the relationship between the food we eat, our bodies, and our minds. While working with this population, Erin deepened her understanding of counseling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, which she now applies with all of her clients. Erin has also worked in a variety of inpatient settings, exposing her to a wide array of health concerns and nutrition interventions. When she is not working with clients, Erin enjoys camping and hiking, snuggling with her two dogs, knitting, and reading!
