Dr. Hernandez Sanchez was born in Guantanamo, Cuba. He obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors from the Medical University of Havana in Cuba. He worked as a Primary Care Physician in Cuba, Venezuela, and Colombia prior to coming to the United States.
He completed a residency in Family Medicine in Cuba and in Internal Medicine at Long Island, New York. He rotated with the Supportive Care team at Memorial Sloan Kettering during his residency training.
Dr. Hernandez Sanchez has over 10 years of experience in Medicine, with special interest in Anti-aging Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, Skin Care and Mental Health.
During his training, he published a case report on the American Neurological Association “Lateral Lesion: A Case of Wallenberg Syndrome". He also took part in multiple quality-improvement projects, which were implemented at his hospital where he trained. He was a member of the Resident Wellness Committee and Medical Staff Performance Improvement Committee during his training in New York.
