What I really like about Dr. Nitka's office is how comfortable they make it feel. No waiting in exam rooms! I had my results in Dr. Nitka's office. I also like the interaction between doctor and patient as I feel like I am just having a conversation with a friend.

Dr. Nitka obtained his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering From the University of Colorado in Boulder and his medical degree from Northwestern University. He remained at Northwestern to complete his residency in adult neurology, serving as chief resident in his last year of training.
Dr. Nitka is board certified in neurology. He treats a wide range of adult neurology disorders. He believes in” treating patients as I would want to be treated”.
In his spare time, Dr. Nitka can be found spending time with his wife, their three rescue dogs and his passion for photography.

I’ve had extremely positive experiences with Dr. Nitka and maintain great deal of trust in his abilities. His bedside manner is attentive, thorough, very personal, and he explains his analysis fully and clearly.
A good doctor does everything in their power to help patients feel better as fast as possible, educates them, and provides advice on how to avoid future problems by evaluating lifestyle and recommending potential changes. Dr. Nitka proved exceptional in all of these criteria. While he did not provide me with a pharmaceutical prescription, his reassurance that my symptoms did not contain an underling pathology served as to alleviate a great deal of stress which contributed to a sharp reduction in my symptoms.
In an era of “assembly line” medical care, Dr. Nitka proves the exception by displaying a genuine interest in his patients’ wellbeing. He represents a throwback to the days when a doctor astutely listened to a patient and performed a thorough examination to understand their individual ailment and treatment needs.
