Erwin Korman, MD is a board-certified obstetrics-gynecology physician with more than 30 years of experience in the field. Dr. Korman earned his medical degree at the University of Alberta, Canada. He completed a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Korman is board certified by both the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr. Korman has served as past chief of the medical staff of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and post chief of the department of OB/GYN. He is also a previous member of the board of directors of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. Currently Dr. Korman serves as chairman of the Committee of OB/GYN Peer Review. He is also a clinical preceptor to the robotic minimally invasive surgery program.
While Dr. Korman practices all areas of OB/GYN, his special interest is in OB/GYN diagnostic ultrasound, minimally invasive pelviscopic surgery, robotics surgery and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Korman is distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Houston Gynecological & Obstetrical Society, and Harris County Medical Society.
