Dr. Evin McCabe grew up in Queens, NY and pursued his undergraduate studies at Yale University. He graduated AOA from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medical residency, Chief Residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. He then pursued an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center under the guidance of Drs. Jerome Siegel, Franklin Kasmin, Seth Cohen and William Brown, with whom he is now in practice. Dr. McCabe’s interests lie in endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, capsule endoscopy and general diagnostic gastroenterology.

He was very professional. Asked all the necessary questions. Was very quick and thorough. My only concern would be to take the prescribed medications as he didn't go over all possible side-effects. Having said that I do trust his judgement and hope there wouldn't be any consequences.

Very approachable and open to answering any questions you might have. Was able to have my consult and schedule an endoscopy a few days later. I would highly recommend.

The doctor spent half of the time repeating and reading to me what I have already provided in the check-in form and the rest of the time typing what I described to him into the computer. No helpful diagnose or anything. Was completely a waste of time - although he was nice and accommodating, I will not recommend him.

This is a really woderful doctor. The wait was short. The office was in a vintage building, but clean and modern. The staff was courteous. Dr. McCabe was very personable, thorough and helpful. Followup precedures were scheduled promptly and the doctor called soon after with results.
