I booked a same-day visit at bluesleep.com and received excellent care from Dr. Ewa Koziorynska. She was super knowledgeable about sleep and ordered a home sleep test for sleep apnea. I was delighted to learn that she was previously a professor of neurology at Columbia University, my alma mater, in the division of Epilepsy and Sleep. Highly recommend!

Ewa Koziorynska, MD is a highly qualified neurologist specializing in Sleep Disorders and Epilepsy. She graduated from Pomeranian Medical University in Poland and completed her neurology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Koziorynska then advanced her expertise with a fellowship in epilepsy at Yale University.
Prior to BlueSleep, she served as an assistant professor of neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she worked in the Division of Epilepsy and Sleep. She also held positions as an attending epileptologist on the faculty at SUNY Downstate and New York University.
Dr. Koziorynska’s clinical focus includes the comprehensive management of sleep disorders, including the interpretation of sleep studies. Her clinical interests also extend to the care of patients with epilepsy, EEG, video-EEG monitoring, and intra-operative monitoring.
Fluent in Polish, English, and Spanish, Dr. Koziorynska has earned recognition for her dedication to patient care and education, having been included in the Castle Connolly Top Doctors listing multiple times. She is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Patients choose either oral appliance therapy or CPAP for treatment for sleep apnea and snoring and use their medical insurance to pay for care.
Please note that BlueSleep does not prescribe controlled substances like Ambien, Quviviq or Belsomra for a sleep problem on the first visit.
