Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I've had the privilege of supporting patients during some of their most vulnerable moments while working in the critical care and surgery care units. These profoundly rewarding experiences have deepened my appreciation for health and fueled my passion for primary care. I am committed to offering patients high-quality, preventive services to enhance their quality of life and help them achieve optimal health.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of primary care is to function as the central point in the healthcare system. I strive to provide education and guidance to empower my patients in managing their overall health. It's essential for me to consider both physical and mental health aspects, as they are deeply interconnected and fundamental to a patient's overall wellbeing. Mental health conditions can exacerbate physical health, and physical health can impact mental health. Therefore, I approach patients holistically, addressing all aspects of their health to deliver comprehensive care.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? Fluent in Spanish, English, and Korean, I love going on food adventures, exploring new dishes, and trying out new restaurants.
