My first visit trying to find a PCP went OK. I didn't have any issues, and the doctor was just OK. However, my second appointment he wanted to do blood work, The day before my appointment I had to call and reschedule because I contracted covid. This was during the holidays and I had to take off work. The first week of January comes and I'm finally able to go back to work My workload was so high due to me being out sick. I had to call and attempt to reschedule again. I call the front desk and get someone who was really unprofessional and rude on the phone. She was NOT understanding at all. I apologized and asked to reschedule my appointment again due to me not being able to take off work because my workload was to high from being sick with covid. And the lady said "K Well we are charging you a no show fee for canceling before your appointment." ***I had to edit this review to not include the amount due to ZocDoc guidelines just know. its the highest I've ever seen a dr offices charge for rescheduling an appointment.***First of all. I was NEVER informed of a fee for rescheduling an appointment. Secondly, that is an insane amount to charge. I don't have that kind of money. Especially during these times. I then told the lady "Are you serious? That's very high." She said " K well do u want to reschedule or not?" Absolutely NOT. I will finding a PCP elsewhere. I will not be paying your outrageous "No show" fee. I was curious why they have so many appointments available, when most dr offices in San antonio are booked out for a few weeks, now I can understand why. If this is how they treat their patients disgusting. I will be attempting to find out who I spoke to, because you can not treat people like that. I do not want anyone else to have to experience that rude woman. I called on 01/06/2022 at 8am.
