Everything with this visit started well, pleasant receptionist, easy paperwork, no frills. Then my visit with the Dr started. Everything was cool at first, real personable until the micro aggressions began. For one, asking someone if their hair is real is weird, but to then progress to not only touching my hair (unprovoked), he then proceeded to pull my hair (???).
it genuinely took me so aback, left me so speechless and beyond uncomfortable. as a black woman it was genuinely a horrifying experience.
