About Dr. Kelly Makela

Dr. Kelly Makela is a native of the Bay Area in California. She graduated with honors from Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA. Dr. Makela was fortunate to have received chiropractic care from birth and her experiences with chiropractic care drove her to help people of all ages in the ways she was helped. She ultimately hopes to educate and empower others about their body’s natural power to adapt and heal. Dr. Makela is passionate about providing individualized, holistic chiropractic care to treat and prevent a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. She has been trained in and utilizes a variety of chiropractic adjustment techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, Activator, Toggle Upper Cervical, extremity adjusting, as well as soft tissue therapeutic techniques.
