An Associate Physician of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Felix Kuo, M.D., FAAD, is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and one of Long Island’s leading experts in both surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Kuo specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, as well as excisional surgery for benign skin lesions. Dr. Kuo has a special interest in reconstructive surgery and providing patients with the best aesthetic repair. Dr. Kuo is acclaimed for his cosmetic procedures and has earned a national reputation for practicing cutting­edge aesthetic dermatology ­ rejuvenating faces with Botox®, soft tissue fillers, chemical peels and lasers with results that are natural and not overdone. Dr. Kuo’s scientific training and clinical experience allow him to identify the safest and most effective procedures available. Dr. Kuo has extensive experience and knowledge in all fields of dermatology. He has trained residents in dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Kuo has authored numerous scientific publications and has lectured at national dermatologic conferences. Dr. Kuo has also actively participated in clinical trials of novel cosmetic surgical devices. He regularly participates in educational conferences, where the most current research and technology in dermatology are discussed and reviewed. Dr. Felix Kuo, M.D., FAAD, is a magna cum laude graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and residency in Dermatology at Boston Medical Center where he served as academic chief resident. Dr. Kuo completed fellowship at University of California, San Francisco.
