Dr. Flora Feldman has been practicing optometry for over 25 years. Her specialties include fitting of contact lenses (including bifocal contacts), writing prescriptions for eyeglasses, and prescribing medication for some common eye diseases. She is certified by the Maryland Board of Optometry to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. Dr. Feldman treats patients ages 4 years and older.
Following her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Boston, Dr. Feldman graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985. After working with several optical companies, in 2000 she decided to use her broad experience to open up her own practice within Sears Optical at Landover.
In 2007, Dr. Feldman added a second location at the White Oak Shopping Center, also in Sears Optical. In 2010, Dr. Angela Yee (an independent doctor) joined the practice at White Oak. In 2013 Dr. Feldman moved her practice from the Landover Sears to the Sears at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg. Dr. Feldman and her colleagues take pride in spending the time to provide warm, personalized and professional care for each patient.

She was very professional and patient. I got the feeling she really cared about me and my vision. Dr. Feldman was very thorough in her examination and answered all my questions and added very good advice based on the options that were available for me. I would surely recommend her to my friends and family.

Not sure if I got the right prescription for my right eye, as it was blurry almost the entire time for the "which is better, 1 or 2" part. I saw Dr. Cerella Rainey and she seemed rather unexcited about the visit, until it was time for me to leave.

Dr. Yee was fantastic! She was very helpful. Informed me on all I needed to do to care for my eyes. Made sure my contacts were the right ones for me. I felt at ease with her right away. She is really good! I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.
