first doctor that EVER read my medical history PRIOR to meeting me. i left several previous doctors in the past 12 years b/c i was sick of always just being thrown pills and suffered life threatening reactions from meds b/c my side effect concerns were not being heard. when i first met Dr Penciu, he knew stuff even i had forgotten about! very personable, positive, straight to the point and honest. if needed, he is ALWAYS available to speak with, not an on-call physician, but he himself! and he will not give a guess or a probable cause, he will keep working with you until answers are found, by way of tests, procedures... if a diagnoses of any kind is 99.9% answered, he is not content. only when anything is 100% accurate, will he feel comfortable with the outcome / answer. Highly Recommended!

I did have to wait a half hour in the waiting room and then another half hour in the little room, but it was worth it. The nurse got my records from my recent visit to the ER from the Cleveland Clinic even though this was a University Hospitals visit. It really helped the doctor knowing what he was dealing with. I appreciated them going above and beyond to get those. Dr. Penciu was friendly, genuinely concerned about not only my health, but also my comfort level. He wanted to get to the bottom of the problem but also to make sure I was feeling better soon. He explained to me exactly the steps we were going to take and had terrific bedside manner. I was immediately at ease with him, like talking to an old friend. I felt better having gone to see him.

Doctor was very friendly and attentive to my needs. First thing he did when we met was give me his business card with a number to reach him any time of day in case of emergency. Ever since that whole "You won't need to find a new doctor" lie of the ACA I've been searching through a lot of terrible doctors. I found my new one.

The appointment seemed very hurried, and was disappointing to be frank. I feel like going to the ER would have been more worthwhile and through. Check-in process went well, initial consultation with the nurse went well too, and when it came to speaking with the doctor and what came after I left disappointed. Long story short, the consultation was rushed and I felt like the issue I was there for was already dismissed before I started talking. Most likely won't be back in the future.

DR. PENCIU WAS AMAZING! HE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN AND REALLY CARED ABOUT WHAT I WAS SAYING. I HONESTLY THINK I HAD A BREAKTHROUGH TODAY. HE WAS SO PATIENT AND HE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE, AND HE EXPLAINED HIS REASONING FOR EVERYTHING. I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!

No problems with Dr Penciu or UH staff "ONCE WE LOCATED HIM. Dr Penciu is not located at the Broadview Heights office and hasn't been there for some time. He is seeing patients at the Parma office at 1057 Rockside Road. Hope you update your Zocdoc data prior to next patient booking.
