I am an adult, adolescent, and child psychiatrist. My goal is to help each person reach a state of mental well-being. I treat adults who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety and attentional difficulties. I develop a unique treatment plan for each individual. I work with children with Autism, ADHD, Depression,and Anxiety. I also work on parent child conflict and enjoy doing parent training.
I recieved my MD from University of Wisconsin in 2004 and completed my training at Albert Einstein University/Montefiore Medical Center in 2009. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I specialize in both talk therapy and psychopharmacology. In addition to psychiatric practice I teach psychiatry residents,mental health professionals, elementary and high school students. I am active in mental health advocacy work through the NY Council of the American Association of Child and Adolesecent Psychiatrists. I also welcome patients to my practice from the LGBT community.
