Dr. Bailey enjoys teaching and has held academic appointments at the Long School of Medicine and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Do not go to this doctor if you need actual help. I recently moved to VA and needed to establish care and continue medications I’ve been taking for 8 years. (Not highly sought after ADHD meds.) He took an extensive history, I answered all questions but left with no new diagnosis, insight into my health, and no prescription to refill my medications. This doctor left me in a horrible position- untreated. All the reviews about him being nice are true but that will not help you with your depression, anxiety, ptsd, or other mental health needs. I was also supposed to receive a follow-up with information ….never received. I had to book a session with another doctor and after explaining my experience with Dr. Bailey, she was shocked. If you have pressing mental health needs, need medication management, or a need new diagnosis- don’t waste your time. If you just kinda wanna talk and learn more and don’t have a immediate /urgent, mental health need, he’s your guy.
