Originally from Kansas City, Dr. Allen went to the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree in Human Biology. For medical school, he went to the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, a top osteopathic medical school which requires graduates to undergo an additional 250 hours of training in spine and musculoskeletal injuries. After residency training in Chicago, he stayed to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine at MacNeal Hospital. From there, he went on to complete a second fellowship in interventional spine and pain management in Birmingham, Alabama. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, scuba diving, photography and traveling with his wife.
Dual fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine
Board certified Proficient in cervical, thoracic and lumbar epidurals trained in kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation and Superion Performed over 3,000 interventional spine procedures.
