Dr. France Bourget is a Board Certified OBGYN. She is Canadian born and trained Obstetrician-Gynecologist with fellowship training in Ob-Gyn Ultrasound and specialized training in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish and believes in providing every woman with individualized and personalized care at every stage of her reproductive life.
Dr Bourget received her doctorate in medicine at University of Montreal in 1990. Following her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, she completed a fellowship in Obstetrical and Gynecologic Ultrasound at University of Ottawa. She was board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the College of Physicians of Quebec and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1995. She obtained board certification from the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2001 and has been a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2002. She is also certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and has been a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine since 1996.
Dr Bourget has been practicing in the United States since 1998. She practiced at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania where she was the medical director of the Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Residency Training Program.
Dr. Bourget has completed multiple advanced courses in Ob/Gyn Ultrasound and advanced laparoscopic surgery and in 2008, she obtained certification in gynecologic robotic surgery.
Dr. Bourget's goal is to provide women of all ages with personalized care in a relaxed and soothing environment.
