About Taina Jean-Pierre
Taina Jean-Pierre was born and raised in Queens, New York, and moved to South Florida in 2014. She holds a BS in Respiratory Care and a BSN from Stony Brook University. She earned a Master’s in Adult Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in 2023. She began her healthcare career in 2000 as a Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist. After earning her BSN, she worked at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center in a Pediatric ICU. Following her relocation to South Florida, Taina continued her career at Nicklaus Children’s Medical Center, Jackson Memorial, Joe DiMaggio Hospital, Broward Health Coral Springs, and West Boca Medical Center, all while furthering her education. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a licensed APRN, as well as a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She speaks English, Creole, and Spanish fluently and is working on her French.
In her spare time, Taina enjoys cooking, traveling, salsa dancing, and learning about different cultures. She is happily married with two young boys and has a mini goldendoodle named Lucie.
Taina wants her patients to know that she is passionate about educating them to maintain a balance for optimal health and strives to ensure they receive the highest quality care that addresses both their physical and emotional needs.
