This was my annual full body scan - I felt I was checked thoroughly and given the opportunity to ask questions. I was even prescribed something to help with moderately dry skin. As I do not have any real skin issues/concerns - my visit is pretty quick - but I don't feel like I was rushed.

The PA was totally uninterested in why I came to the office. The medical assistant came in and drilled me, took my picture and basically said the doctor really doesn’t want to see you. When I explained further she went back and then the doctor agreed to speak with me. The visit took 3 minutes. What a waste of my insurance. My appt took place a week earlier due to an opening of an earlier appointment.

I was a little disappointed after waiting 35 minutes for the doctor she had less than 5 minutes to spend with me, I felt hurried and as if she didn’t have a full understanding of my issue. I ended up with a prescription differing to what she had described.

I previously saw a Schweiger dermatologist on UES and was very pleased with my experience. However, this time I went to the BK Heights location and it was unsatisfactory.
I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, and the lights were off and no one acknowledged me. After getting in the room and undressing, I was then told that the PA (Frances Kramer) would be 35 minutes late for the appointment due to traffic. When she arrived, she rushed through the skin check, and I didn't feel confident that she was really looking at my skin. There was no close examination of any moles -- felt more like she was doing a once-over of my body. She also didn't check my scalp, and then only looked at one small section of it after I asked. The whole appointment lasted maybe 5 minutes.
I will likely use Schweiger again but recommend a different doctor and office.
