About Frances Hodapp
Frances Hodapp attended Texas A&M University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked two years as a pediatric intensive care nurse before attending the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) School of Health Professions in Dallas where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies. During her time in the PA program, Frances served as the Union Gospel Clinic Manager, where she volunteered at a free clinic in the Dallas community, and also was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Frances has felt called to serve in the healthcare setting since a young age and believes in the importance of shared decision making between the provider and patient. She desires to care for the whole person addressing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
She stays involved in her community by volunteering with the local food bank and her church. In her free time, Frances enjoys traveling to and hiking in National Parks with her husband, E.J., along with spending time with her family and friends.

Very efficient and sweet to me as I was late to my appointment due to getting lost in the hospital trying to find their location. (My fault not theirs). They treated me with kindness and got me checked in immediately. I loved every minute of my visit. The Doctor was very sweet and listened to what I had to say and tought both my husband and I and few things. I definitely recommend this office and will definitely be returning as well.

Doctor Hodapp was great. The entire front office was unprofessional. They constantly talked about their guests in front of them, and while they had the appointment. To have someone talk about you while you’re in a vulnerable state, especially if you are on the clock is terrible work behavior. I would honestly recommend Doctor Hodapp, she was very nice especially in such a highly anxious appointment but the front office is just a terrible experience. Never go to them if you have any medical appointments, and it’s clear they’re just here for the pay. If you’re going to get a job as a front desk assistant, make sure your guests feel safe, apparently it’s soooooo hard. It’s already hard enough to make the appointments on the phone with them, that’s why I’d rather use ZocDoc.

I enjoyed my visit with Frances PA. She was a great listener and she asked questions that pertaining to my visit. She did not rush me or make me feel uncomfortable and made a few recommendations that I took to heart. She also had me scheduled av3 month appointment before I left.

I visited the doctor due to experiencing tingling pain in my hands. The entire exam lasted about 12 minutes. PA Hodapp was punctual and asked questions regarding my health. After inquiries, PA Hodapp diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome. She recommended that I obtain wrist braces and wear them during the day. This essentially concluded my visit. As a new patient at Palm Primary Care, my expectations for this health visit were not met. PA Hodapp's determination that my hand tingling was caused by carpal tunnel syndrome was based primarily on observing me touch each finger to my thumb. No wrist x-ray, MRI, other physical examination, Carpal Compression Test, ultrasound, or electromyography was conducted or scheduled. Although I may be mistaken, I expected tests related to my tingling nerves. During the exam, I did not undergo any other tests that seemed specific to my nerve issues. After leaving Palm Primary Care, I was uncertain about my next steps for treatment and pain relief.

Really friendly staff, was seen quickly. Frances was so friendly and helpful. She talked through all of my concerns and I felt heard and considered the entire visit. I just moved to the area and finding a PcP has been stressful but I’m thankful to find her! The only complaint is that the office was inside the hospital but the front desk helped me find it super quick.
