As the newest member to our team, Dr. Williams is an experienced board-certified Internal Medicine physician who is available now to see New and Same-Day Patients. She received her B.A. from The University of Pennsylvania and her M.D. from Boston Unviersity. She completed her residency at the Johns Hopkins University / Sinai Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2000.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Williams sees adults at Cura Capitol in Washington, DC. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she strives to provide quality healthcare to patients from a variety of different cultural backgrounds, and a wide range of general medical concerns, including primary care needs, women’s health, mental health, prevention/screening, and procedures.

Dr. Williams was personable and attentive to all the details regarding the reason of my visit. She took time to discuss my medical history and made imaging recommendations, as well as recommendations of other general wellness exams I should schedule based on my family medical history. She was prompt to help me in refilling my prescriptions and asked that I schedule a follow-up appointment to check in after my imaging. I am a new patient and was very happy with my first interaction with Dr. Williams.

The experience was OK. The only thing I did not like was they did not have water available for patients. I was asked to do a urine test, but there was no water.

I was the first appointment of the day and the doctor arrived 45 minutes late looking pretty disheveled. She apologized and acknowledged that she hadn’t looked at my chart and proceeded to ask me the same questions the intake nurse asked. It was an odd experience that I’m still on the fence if I want to have additional appointments…… but it also wasn’t a bad experience. Just different and didn’t quite give the best first impression. There is room for improvement. They do have parking which is nice!

The appointment went swell and I will be back! Dr. Williams was attentive, knowledgeable and very patient. I was hoping to find a new PCP after mine relocated and I believe I have. She was thorough, even beyond the reason behind my visit. What sold me is that the phlebotomist is available on sight so convenient, that and the lovely staff. I mean this with the most sincerity, this was the most pleasant doctor visit I’ve ever experienced.
