Dr. Kartono is a board certified dermatologist and joined Dermatology Specialists in December 2012. She graduated with honors from UCLA and received her osteopathic medicine training from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
She then made her move to Michigan and completed her residency training at Botsford and Pontiac Osteopathic Hospitals through Michigan State University. She subsequently pursued a fellowship in Cutaneous Lymphoma at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and served as an assistant professor in Dermatology.
Dr. Kartono has numerous publications, lectured at national meetings, and has been involved in clinical trials in psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and lupus.
