“Friendly office staff and provider is professional and knowledgeable. The office did text me and want me to give them my credit card over text message so they could have it in case I didn't show - they have a fee for no shows. I told them I wasn't comfortable sharing credit card info over text and so they called me the next day for it. ”

“I LOVE LOVE a GREAT NP and Allison and Art of Dermatology staff did not disappoint. My son is really struggling with acne and there are not great options near us… so ZocDoc allowed me to research and make video appointment to get him on his way to healthier skin. Even offered if acne worsens, in office options and after one visit, would be totally worth the drive for in person as well. 5??”

About Allison Jenney
Allison Jenney, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Master of Science in Nursing degree (2019). She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University (2009), after acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies from Michigan State University (2008). Additionally, Allison is a proud member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA).
Allison began her nursing career in Tennessee before returning home to Michigan. During her time down south, she spent 10 years working as a registered nurse, in the critical-care and surgical units. While there, she continued to advance her nursing expertise as an adjunct member of Belmont University’s nursing faculty as she devoted her studies to medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She trained with experts in the field and committed herself to being a lifelong learner. Driven by a passion for patient care and dermatological health, Allison's focus is to make tangible differences in the lives of patients through diagnosing and managing their medical issues, applying updated evidence-based practices to treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and providing aesthetic treatments.
Allison joins the Art of Dermatology team with a clear passion and commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through personalized care and continuing to enhance others knowledge about prevention, awareness, and understanding of disease processes and skincare products.
In her spare time, Allison likely is traveling or spending time outdoors. You can usually find her on one of Michigan’s many lakes or golf courses (covered in SPF, of course!).
