His remarks were clear and his written diagnosis contained verbiage that may assist me in obtaining compensation for home care assistance for my wife.

My visit with Dr. Boller was great! He made me feel at easy right away. His bedside manner was to the utmost professionalism. He listened to me attentively and addressed every question that I had and my parents. Dr. Boller and his Resident/Interns explained things to me at a level I could understand without being intimidated by the medical terminology or diagnoses, which myself and my parents greatly appreciated. When we left his office we finally felt like someone actually cared and would do their best to help with my medical issue. Thank you! Chris W.

THIS OFFICE IS A NIGHTMARE, the doctor is just ok. If you have an alternative, go there instead! Dr. Boller is older and on the slow side. He is also losing his eyesight I believe. The medical student had to help him quite a bit. He was a little short and cut me off while I was explaining certain symptoms. Very difficult to understand him because of his accent and the fact that he is older (he has that older raspy, quiet voice). His instructions on what I needed to do next were also not very clear at all. So, it wasn't the best visit, but it was ok. I have a follow up in 3 weeks. The receptionist should be fired! One of the ladies was on her phone texting (hispanic with glasses) and when a patient came up to her and said hello, she didn't address her at first. She eventually looked up a few seconds later, but looked like the patient was interrupting her from something important. She was also very rude to her about not having a referral. She wouldn't even let the patient speak or explain that the hospital told her to come and she didn't need one. She just shook her head and cut her off saying "no, no, you need a referral". She could have handled it a lot better. The receptionist that assisted me was much nicer, but unprofessional (African American with a braided updo). She was on the phone having a personal conversation both times that I had to speak to her (on my in and on my way out). She was laughing and giggling and speaking a very relaxed tone to who I believe was a coworker that was out of the office. I had several questions that I had to ask her WHILE she was on the phone and some of them she answered, but the most important ones like, where I needed to go for my offsite appointments, she responded with "Oh, I don't know, you could probably do "this" or that". How do you not know where the doctor would like his patients to go to get imaging and things done? She told me I could try downstairs to see if they would do my imaging because she know that "they do some imaging and stuff like that". Or I could go across the street to the hospital because "they don't make imaging appointments for patients". I went downstairs to imaging and they very nice and helping ladies in that department told me that they only do xrays and not the MRI that I also needed. They also gave me 3 numbers I could call to help me figure out what to do. THEY DID HER JOB FOR HER! Customer service and professionalism are clearly lost on this office. They have no idea what it is and that it is necessary to run a doctors office affiliated with such a prestigious hospital as GW. NO CLUE AT ALL. I am glad that I won't have to spend much time here and will probably not even need the follow up if my imaging comes out clear (which I'm sure it will), because I could not imagine having to come to this place many more times. If this was someone I was looking to as a primary care doctor I would NEVER come again.
Very kind and pleasant.

Prior to my visit with Dr. Boller I had visited Urgent Care Center in Arlington, the Emergency Room and another Neurologist. I received various differing opinions on whether I had a concussion or not. Dr. Boller's opinion coincided with the Emergency Room's opinion that I did sustain a concussion when I was hit in the head by my bathroom door. He was very nice, kind and above all very informative and took the time to examine me. I have a follow-up appointment scheduled to see him in late July. I strongly recommend Dr. Boller.
Went to him after seeing his reviews and nothing went well. We had an appointment at 3:40pm and got stuck in a bit of construction traffic (yay, DC) and called them to tell them that we were going to be a few minutes late. We got there at 3:44pm and went to check in and the front desk said the doctor had left. They seemed just as surprised as we were. They tried calling him and he pretty much said he's no longer in the building so he wouldn't take us. They said we could come in the next day if we'd like to pay ahead. Let's just say it was a complete waste of money. He didn't even take me seriously and said to go get an MRI which he said had a wait list of 4 weeks and to see him again in 2 months. For the price we paid you can definitely see a better and caring doctor.
I saw Dr. Boller out of necessity after a traumatic brain injury. He was the first neurologist who could see me and he had decent reviews online. I've seen him twice. Both times I had an extraordinary wait time (the first over 1 hour, the second over 2) to be seen for a very short amount of time (my second visit he only spoke with me for ~7minutes). I found his bedside manner uncomfortably flirty and was frustrated by his lack of attention to my case. He seemed bored and ambivalent when evaluating my condition -- and might not have seen me at all the second time I came in (for the 6-month check-up he explicitly requested) if his staff hadn't pinned him down. I felt very alienated by my experiences here and have had to seek out additional help for my ongoing condition elsewhere. I would not suggest this doctor unless your insurance gave you no other alternative.
Very surprised at the Dr's interview techniques. During two conversations he tried to excuse him laughing or smiling about my condition. Consulted a second Dr. from another practice and the experience was much more professional.

Dr. Boller truly cared about the details of my injury and the accident I had endured. He asked a lot of questions, was genuinely caring, and seemed incredibly intelligent. I wish there were more doctors like him!
There was very short wait time and the staff did all they could to make sure that my visit was as effective as possible. Dr. Boller was very knowledgeable and aware of how to assess my concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr. Boller as well as his resident .
