Dr. Frank S. Bono is a board certified, fellowship trained, minimally invasive spine surgeon. Dr. Bono has been recognized by Consumer Reports, Newsweek, & ProPublica as one of the top spine surgeons in the country. Dr. Bono performs all of his surgeries through the minimally invasive approach - providing much quicker recovery times for his patients. Dr. Bono is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Biology and Chemistry. In 2000, he completed his medical education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he earned his degree in Osteopathic Medicine. He performed both his internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Having completed a Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Surgery fellowship in the Department of Spinal Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
