Dr. Candido was very professional and friendly. He listened attentively and heard all of my concerns. I felt comfortable and am closer to resolving my stomach issues. The office staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. There was plenty of parking and I was seen quickly.

He then served as a battalion surgeon in the 2nd Marine Division of the U.S. Marine Corps. Following this, Dr Candido continued his medical education at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital Center, where he completed his residency in internal medicine and served as chief resident. He also completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at New York Medical College, Flower and Fifth Avenue Hospital.

This was my first visit with Dr. Candido because I was seeking a fresh second opinion of an ongoing issue. Even though I'd never met Dr. Candido before, he treated me like family, contemplated every word carefully before advising me and showed that he truly cared. There was no rushing or interrupting. He even called me that night to hear about a second medical visit I was having later that day. Dr. Candido's practice should be the gold standard for medical care.

Had to wait a while to see Dr. Candido but it was well worth it. He actually took the time to speak with me and listen to how I felt and prescribed a course of action from that. I’m giving him 5 stars for the wait because I think it’s unfair to judge quality like him based on speed alone.

It has been a very long time that I have visited a doctor and left the office saying “HA I finally found a great doctor”... well I finally have!! Dr. Candido is everything you wish for in a doctor. He is kind, thorough, truly cares, takes time to speak with you and goes above and beyond and most of all knowledgeable in his field. I highly recommend him. His assistant is the cutest and sweetest woman ever and will go that extra mile - thank you to both.
I would also like to give a shout out to the staff. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave they are kind, with a big smile and welcoming. I didn’t utter a word and she noticed the room was closed and I was freezing and she adjusted the temperature to accommodate me.

The wait time was longer than expected, but when you meet him for your appointment, especially if it's your first consult, you understand why, and it's well worth it. He cares deeply for his patients, is exceptionally thorough and spends all the time he needs with you.

I walked in it was very quite the receptionist spoke to me right away. When I got into the room the assistant was so personable and polite gave me light conversation to ease my nerves. Now the Dr. Oh my what a delight and relief. So glad I chose him hope we don't have to meet long lol but it will definitely be a pleasure while it last.

Dr. Candido took his time and was genuinely interested in finding a solution to my health issues. It was such a breath of fresh air to finally see a doctor who didn't seem like they just wanted to rush me out of the room to get to the next patient. The wait time was very long, over an hour - but once I was in the patient room the doctor spent over 45 minutes with me and I understood the long wait time. It is a trade off that is well worth it in my opinion. It is hard to come by doctors who truly care.

On our initial appointment we almost walked out, waited forever but when other patients told us how great he was we decided to stick around...the reason we waited so long is because he takes all the time to talk to his patients, he actually answers all questions and asks if you have more questions...he will spend all the time needed to make sure all areas are covered.

I had a great experience. Everyone in the office was quite nice and the wait was surprisingly short. Dr. Candido asked all the right questions to get to possible causes, beyond what I wrote (or forgot to write) in my patient history. Highly recommended!
