I am absolutely greatful for Dr. Laursen and his office staff they saved me from so much pain. Saw 3 diffrent Dotors who kept misdiagnosing me was in sever pain unbearable pain. Dr Laursen took one look and said he could fix me and he did instant relife took his time and was very kind.

A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Laursen graduated from Cameron College in Lawton Oklahoma and earned his degree in dentistry at the University of Tennessee Dental School. He served in the US Army from 1966-1968 and was deployed to Vietnam during his service. Dr. Laursen worked as a general dentist in private practice until 1975 when he attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in 1977. Dr. Laursen received his Otolaryngology residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and joined the practice in 1981. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. Dr. Laursen is a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Laursen sees patients at our Northeast and Southeast offices. He sees adults and children for general ENT issues.

I booked an appointment online and got a call to confirm the appoinment an hour later. Staff was really nice and welcoming. The nurse was patient and efficient. Dr.Laursen was really nice too, professional and efficient. He listened carefully and took care of my issue right away (bilateral sinusitis with hearing loss from pressure equalization issue). The office was clean and spacious. I dis not wait more than 15 minutes but I arrived late. Would really recommend him.

Awful place- do not waste your time going to see this office. They wanted to break up simple allergy testing into 3-4 visits. I don't have the time to play "bill the insurance" as much as possible with this office. I was able to find another allergy doctor in Stone Oak, SAME CO PAY who allergy tested my son, found all his triggers, gave us a copy of them and recommended treatments all within ONE VISIT. Nothing like this place. DONT BOTHER HERE.

He was quick and to the point. I didn't wait forever once I went back to the room. He and his staff were all very friendly and professional. I think the wait in the lobby was only due to filling out first time paperwork and such, Everyone seemed to be going back very quickly.

Spent an hour in the waiting area and thirty minutes between being called and placed in a room. Dr spent five minute with me, did not read my chart with the medications I had previously taken the week before. Had to repeat it to him. This is the second time he has rushed in the door and rushed right back out. He did not stop to ask if my questions were answered.

The office staff were helpful and answered any questions that had before a left my appointment. Dr Lauren was very thorough. He reviewed my chart and developed a plan of treatment that was appropriate and reasonable for my budget

After telling work I'd be back in about an hour, I waited an hour and a half to be seen. The doctor quickly discounted my other doctor (that I trust very much) with a snicker and explained that he wouldn't be able to interpret the face x-rays if i had them sent over to look at a previous sinus infection.
After two previous rounds of antibiotics and headaches now for 2 and a half months, it was extremely disappointing to walk out with muscle relaxers and pain medicine. I was in and out of the appointment itself in about 20 minutes.

I thought he was very congenial and professional. He diagnosed my medical condition and provided capable medical treatment. He wants to schedule future visits to address some of my other medical symptoms. If possible, I will continue to use him as my primary ear, nose, and throat doctor.

They overcharged me for a procedure they insisted on, I didn't want to put my daughter through, tried to do the same on my appointment and now they refuse to cooperate on removing what they told me I had already paid in full. All I wanted was to meet the doctor and get prescription refills which I informed them of. Not going back.

General lack of office etiquette by the staff.. the receptionist didn't greet any of the patients, did not seem happy to be there.. the staff was very loud / generally unprofessional... i never received a comment or general sense back from the consulting nurse that my comments / symptoms were being heard, instead, i was interrupted w/ additional questions.. at one point while sitting in the examining room another attendant walked in, did not acknowledge me whatsoever, did not say hello, excuse me, nothing... she grabbed an item from a cabinet and paused to look at the contents in my bag (which was open and on the chair) before walking out, the doctor seemed nice enough, but did not introduce himself, did not explain anything about my illness or what course of action to take while waiting for test set-ups, he said he would see me right outside and then left, did not shake my hand or ask if i had any questions. He was so abrupt. I was then escorted to the back desk to set up next apptmts & to hear a brief run down of prep lists, etc. - i felt as if is was being "rushed" out the door. Did not feel like i had been to the doctor... with a definite plan of action. I literally had to call back to ask about a procedure that was being scheduled since if it was mentioned, it had to have been while i was being rushed out the door. Isabel was the only one to "extend" herself professionally. Will probably be asking for a referral to another doctor and clinic for sure.
