Gabriela (Gaby) Cohen is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for pediatric nutrition and supporting clients through recovery from disordered eating. Originally from Venezuela, and currently living and working as a dietitian in Miami, Gaby obtained her Master’s of Science from Simmons University in Boston in their specialized Eating Disorders Program. In 2020, Gaby obtained the Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certificate from IIN As a dietitian, Gaby enjoys working with her clients and their respective support systems to heal their relationship with food and re-discover the joy that adequate nourishment and a neutral relationship with food and our bodies can provide in our lives. Gaby appreciates interdisciplinary team work with other providers. In her counseling skills, Gaby uses principles from Intuitive Eating , CBT, and mindfulness. Gaby joins Karuna with professional experience in high levels of care for eating disorders, including, Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
