I’ve been a long time patient of Dr. Ignuito’s. I’ve never felt as comfortable and confident with any doctor as I do with him. His bedside manner is more than I could ever ask for. It’s not hard to get a next day apt or even same day apt sometimes. He is pretty efficient at seeing his apts on time without making anyone feel rushed. He genuinely cares about his patients as he asks about more than just your physical health. DFM has the best group of girls running the show too! I love every single staff member in that office. I highly recommend Delaware Family Medicine and will continue to use their office as a referral when someone (including my family and friends) is in need of a new family dr as I don’t know anyone better to recommend as Dr. Ignuito is certainly the best in my opinion!

Dr. Inguito received his M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine – Ghent Family Practice in Norfolk, Virginia where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine as well as receiving board certification by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management of the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Inguito received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Delaware Executive MBA program.
Dr. Inguito was honored by the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians as the 2008-2009 Family Physician of the Year. Dr. Inguito served as the Associate Residency Program Director for the St. Francis Family Practice Residency Program in Wilmington, Delaware prior to opening up Delaware Family Medicine.
Dr. Inguito is actively involved in several organizations including the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the Delaware Institute of Medical Education and Research (DIMER). He currently serves as Adjunct Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Temple School of Medicine . He served as President of the Delaware Board of Medical Practice. Nationally, Dr. Inguito serves on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards and served on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3 Committee.
His interests include spending time with his family, playing sports and traveling.
