This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. He didn't listen to any of my concerns, downplayed all of my symptoms, and provided no plan for diagnosis or further care. He even ignored past GI diagnosis that I already had knowledge of. He just kept asking me what I want to do... I have no idea how to treat my symptoms that's why I came to a specialist I can barely afford. His remarks became so dismissive and made me feel hopeless to the point I left the appointment in tears. If you have any concerns about not being listened to do not come here.

Great listener and his concern for your overall health. The nice thing is his procedures are done in house and not having to schedule at a hospital or out patient clinic. Very clean and spend times with you after the procedure. Always there for you.

Dr. Quan is a good doctor, it seems. But his receptionist when you call is surly and a bit dense. It was hard to ask questions without her getting cross and I don’t think she made an effort to understand what I was asking her. It seemed like it made her angry that I was asking for something that she didn’t understand.

I didn’t particularly enjoy this experience. I went here because i was having stomach issues and the doctor just essentially told me that I was having stomach issues and gave me some meds. I felt I could’ve went to a normal physician and gotten the same response. I went to a specialist because I was expecting more to be done to figure out the root of my issue, maybe tests, something more than just sitting and talking to me for 5 minutes. I felt the doctor was barely listening to me and I was struggling to get in a word. After waiting over an hour to be seen, this was very disappointing.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gang Quan for a few years now. He is very knowledgeable and a kind gentleman. He is well know in his field and the most experienced in the Denton county area.

I met with a CareNow doc the day before that took more interest in me and my issues. The CareNow doc took blood tests, pee test, x-rays, and sent me home with a stool sample. Dr. Quan started listening to my story and 35% of the way in says my stomach issues are from Ecoli.... no tests, no nothing, he swears that Ecoli is in my system messing me up. Told me to wait a few weeks and I’ll feel better. Still not feeling right and honestly a waste of money. Didn’t feel like he really cared about me or my issues. Filled out a ton of paperwork when I got there and would still ask me questions that I answered on the paperwork, so he didn’t even take the time to read all the paperwork that they make you fill out. Won’t be going back. Downloaded this app to avoid problems like this and look where it got me.

My appointment was for 3:45 PM, but I didnt get seen until around 4:50. The doctor then brought me into the same room he had just escorted patients out of, without cleaning anything (which would be concerning even without Covid). He then only saw me for 7 minutes and didn’t even do an exam.

When I think about my experience with Dr. Quan five words come to my mind: knowledgeable, experienced, skillful, patient and kind. I had one request regarding my colonoscopy, I wanted to do it without sedation (not every day request I know). Dr. Quan made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. He talked to me as he was doing his thing, explaining every step. It was over before I knew it! No pain, no discomfort. I hope dr Quan is not planning on retiring any time soon because I am not going anywhere else. Dr. Quan is my doctor! Thank You to the whole team, you guys rock!

This seemed a little like a money racket. I have insurance but they made me pay this large fee upfront and would not explain why. The front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. We waited a very long time considering there was only one other patient in front of us. Finally, the doctor was did not instill confidence that he knew what he was talking about. We asked about treatment options and kept getting answers like "you can if you want" or "I don't know, maybe". Not the best and the medicine he prescribed was for a symptom I was not having, so he wasn't listening either. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

I was belittled and dismissed due to my weight, which is one of the symptoms of the issue that is going on. It was even explained to me how walking for fitness works AFTER I explained that I have been an athlete my whole life and still exercise a minimum of 5 days a week.

I waited for quite a while to see the doctor, and when I did finally see him, Dr. Quan did not seem to care about my issues at all. My expectations were that I could have a discussion regarding the ongoing issues I’ve been facing and possible solutions for them. Instead, I was asked a few vague questions, told it was probably nothing consequential, and ushered out of the office with a scope recommended (without further explanation). I was disappointed in my interaction with the doctor and the lack of communication he displayed.
