Dr. Nguyen is professional, but she frequently talked over me and did not seem very patient. From her facial expressions and overall demeanor, I felt she was quite pushy during the conversation. I would not recommend her if you are a slow talker like me or if you prefer a slower-paced, more considerate conversation, as you may not feel well respected during the visit.
That said, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

To me, it was just total lack of communication. I was told she had a prescription called in for me, but it was one that I told her I would not take. The one that I needed, and take on a daily basis, was never called in Until I called the office. ?

I had a really positive experience! The front office staff were super respectful and took the time to answer all my questions. The nurse who guided me to the back was so lovely, and I really appreciated how she explained what she was doing. The doctor was fantastic too—friendly and more than willing to answer all my questions. If I had to give just one suggestion, it would be that the reception area felt a bit cold. Adding a plant or two could really make it feel more inviting! Overall, a great visit!

The doctor was was friendly, office. Staff was also friendly. I went in to get a refill on birth control and for a physical for my daughter. She didn’t check her reflexes. She didn’t look in her ears. She did not check her spine. Then rather than ordering the entire year of birth control pills she wants me to come back every three months for an office visit. I’ve never had to do that before.?

I moved here recently from out of state and as a senior, choosing a new PCP was a daunting task, having been with my previous PCP for 20+ years.
Dr Nguyen was such a delight - so personable, took great care to listen to my concerns and quickly worked up a treatment plan. I believe Dr. Nguyen is a good fit for my needs and I look forward to working with her.

I absolutely recommend this office to everyone.
The office staff, Beatrice and Joyce were two lovely people that went above and beyond helping with the check-in and insurance approvals.
Marco, who happened to be filling in the day I was there, was also awesome through the weight-in, blood pressure, let's get to know you part of the visit.
Then there was Dr. Nguyen, what a delight. She took the time to listen and address all of my concerns and did so while being friendly and informative.
I also had some lab work done and the technician (who's name I didn't get) was friendly and very good.
No one likes to go to the doctor's office but if you need one, I highly recommend Metroplex Medical Center and Dr. Nguyen and her staff.

Loved the dynamic of the staff who seem to work great together. Excellent communication from the check in to the trailer process, testing, lab collection in clinic to the physician's wonderful bedside manner. The suggested pharmacy RenueRx is in network with my plan and had my medications in stock at a much lower cost that the retail pharmacies. The referral care and process is just amazing!
It's wonderful, I highly recommend the McKinney location!
