Gary L. Gilcrease, MD is a third-generation native of the Hill Country. Raised in San Marcos, he chose to return to his roots to open his own family practice in the Buda-Kyle area.
Gary L. Gilcrease, MD holds Bachelor's degrees in both Music and Chemistry from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Following medical school, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his third year of residency, he received additional training in dermatology and sports medicine.
Dr. Gilcrease is Board Certified in Family Practice and holds staff privileges at Seton Main, Seton Southwest, Seton Hays, and St. David's hospitals. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society.
