Definitely recommend! I didn’t even have time to finish filling out the paperwork before I was seen, and the doctor was in the room quickly. She was friendly and thorough and made me feel very comfortable. I was in and out within 25 minutes but didn’t feel rushed at all.

Geeta Patel, D.O., has joined Bellaire Dermatology in April 2016. Prior to this, she was part of the medical faculty as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma. In this role at the University of Oklahoma, she was the Director of medical student training and responsible for their contact dermatitis clinic, phototherapy and photodynamic programs. She completed her dermatology residency, serving as chief resident, at Lewis Gale Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg, Va. She completed her internship at Nassau University Medical Center, East Meadow, N.Y., and earned her osteopathic degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, N.Y.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has authored numerous articles in such journals as the Journal of American Osteopathic Dermatology, Skin and Aging, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dematology, and Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiology,and had chapters published in the textbooks, Emergency Dermatology and The Essentials of Dermatology.
She is a long time resident of Texas, spending a lot of time in San Antonio and Austin. In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys working out, exploring Houston and enjoying life.

Oh my gosh I fell in love and I just had my first visit (lol) She's very laid back and personable. She, also, explains everything very detailed and in a way you can really understand what is going on. My appointment didn't take me longer than 25-30 minutes tops! Definitely recommend!
